The Math Circles of Chicago serves children in grades 5 through 12. Our free programs are held at five different sites. Sessions generally meet once every other week, and the grade levels served vary and are detailed below.

The Payton Math Circle

Who: Students in grades 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12
Where: Walter Payton College Prep, 1034 N. Wells
When: Saturdays. 1:00-3:00PM
Other site specific information: Sessions for both 5th/6th and 7th/8th graders at the Payton site run from 1:00-2:00 or 2:15-3:15 (children can apply for 1:00PM slot or a 2:15 slot but not both).

The Bridgeport Math Circle

Who: Students in grades 6/7/8
Where: Benton House, 3034 S. Gratten
When: Tuesdays, 5:15-6:30PM

The Lane Tech Math Circle

Who: Students in grades 5/6 and 7/8
Where: Lane Tech High School, 2501 W. Addison
When: Tuesdays, 5:00-6:15PM

The Pilsen Math Circle

Who: Students in grades 6th-8th and 9th-12th
Where: Mujeres Latinas en Accion Youth Center, 1823 W. 17th
When: Mondays, 4:30-6:00 for 6th-8th; 5:00-6:45 for 9th-12th

The UofC YSP Math Circle

Who: Students in grades 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12
Where: Ryerson Hall, 1100 E. 58th St.
When: Saturdays, 1:00PM-3:00PM
Other site specific information: Sessions for 7th/8th graders at the UofC site run from 1:00-2:00 or 2:15-3:15 (children can apply for 1:00PM slot or a 2:15 slot but not both).
