Math Circles of Chicago serves children in grades 5 through 12. Our free programs are held at Hubs, in After School ‘Box’ sessions, at community centers, homeless shelters, and within other STEM partner programs.

Our hubs meet at 5 locations and online, with these levels explained here. Sessions generally meet once every other week, and the grade levels served at a hub vary and are detailed below. Every hub is open to children attending any school.

We serve more than 30 schools through after school programs, which we call “Math Circles in a Box”. “Other Programs” at the bottom of the page describes our partnerships and the major events we sponsor.

Register at our hubs here. Winter registration is open! The lottery will run on December 18th. After the 18th spots are available first come first serve.

Middle Schools Throughout Chicago

MC2 partners with more than 30 schools to provide 5th to 8th graders (and in a few cases high schoolers) after school math enrichment. Unlike our hubs, these programs are only open to students at the participating school, and programs typically meet weekly. Currently we have ‘Box’ programs in these neighborhoods: Auburn-Gresham, Back of the Yards, Beverly, Bronzeville, Budlong Woods, Edgewater, Englewood, Evergreen Park, Humboldt Park, Hyde Park, Lakeview, Little Village, Morgan Park, Norwood Park, Pilsen, Portage Park, South Shore, Uptown, West Elston, and Woodlawn.
