Mark your calendars for November 14th! The Association for Women in Mathematics at UIC will be holding a Sonia Kovalevsky Math day at UIC for girls in grades 8 to 12. Encourage girls in your life to pursue a career in mathematics—they will participate in sessions about magic squares, flexagons, math card tricks, and more. The event runs from 10:30-3:00, and you can register at this website—the deadline to register is November 1st!
